We have made promotions as clear cut and precise as possible in order to minimize confusion.  Each group will have a specific criteria that must be met before a promotion will be considered.  Once your swimmer's coach feels that your swimmer has met this criteria, then a move up will be scheduled with the parents shortly after.  Promotions will be done in March, May, September, and December.  

To join Black/Yellow Group:
Must swim freestyle 25 yards

To join Gold Group (from Black/Yellow):
Must swim all four strokes legally 25 yards

To join Junior Olympic Group (from Gold):
Must make 5x100 @ 1:30 free
Must make 5x100 @ 1:45 IM
Must be at least 10 years old
Must have 50% attendance (3 out of a possible 6 practices offered per week)

To join Varsity Group:
Must swim freestyle 25 yards

To join Senior Group (from Varsity or Junior Olympic):
Must make 5x100 @ 1:20 Free
Must make 5x100 @ 1:30 IM
Must be at least 13 years old
Must have 75% attendance
